HumDay

The Zapier alternative that shows its work

In Zapier you assemble every Zap yourself and each action is a billed task. In HumDay you describe the outcome, approve a contract, and watch it proven on real data before it touches your accounts.

HumDay vs Zapier, at a glance

HumDay
Zapier
How you build
Describe the outcome in plain words — the automation is written for you.
Assemble each Zap yourself: trigger, actions, field mapping.
Before it runs live
A contract you approve, then a proof run on real data.
Turn the Zap on and watch it behave.
Apps
Any app that publishes an API description — 1,357 catalogued so far, no hand-built connector needed.
7,000+ hand-built integrations — their headline, and the category's largest.
Pricing
Plans with included credits — no per-step metering.
Per task: every action a Zap performs counts.
When something fails
Retries, stops and duplicate rules fixed in the contract; failures reported with evidence.
Zap history and replay, configured per step.
Best for
People who want the outcome, with proof — no canvas.
Teams who enjoy assembling and maintaining flows.

How an automation gets built here

  1. Describe the outcome. In your own words — what should happen, not which endpoints to call.
  2. Approve the contract. Exactly what it will do, which accounts it touches, and what happens on failure — before anything is built.
  3. See it proven. The generated program runs on real data and shows you the result before it is allowed near a live account.
  4. Grant access, then go live. You approve the specific operations it may use — and only those.

When Zapier is the better fit

Zapier has a decade of hand-crafted integrations, thousands of templates, and a community that has answered every question once already. If you enjoy building Zaps, need a niche connector only they have, or lean on their templates daily — stay. This page is for people who want the work done for them, with evidence.

Questions people ask

Is HumDay a good Zapier alternative?
For people who want the outcome rather than the assembly, yes: you describe the job in plain words, approve a contract, watch a proof run on real data, and go live. If you enjoy building and maintaining Zaps yourself, Zapier will keep serving you well.
Does HumDay support as many apps as Zapier?
The two numbers measure different things. Zapier counts integrations someone built and maintains by hand; HumDay reads an app's own published API description, so the 1,357 catalogued apps are what is indexed for browsing — not the limit of what runs. If an app publishes machine-readable API docs, it can be automated, whether or not it is in the catalogue yet. And if an app publishes no API at all, HumDay says so plainly instead of promising a workaround.
Can I migrate my Zaps to HumDay?
There is no importer, and you will not miss it: describe what the Zap does in one sentence and approve the contract HumDay writes back. Most Zaps are one sentence — "when a payment lands in Stripe, email the customer a receipt" — and the proof run shows it working before you switch anything off.
Does HumDay charge per task like Zapier?
No. Plans include credits, and a run is not a metered task — the pricing question becomes "what does this automation cost to run", not "how many steps dare I add to it".
How is HumDay different from an AI agent running my automations?
An AI agent decides while it runs and you read about it afterwards. Here every decision is settled in advance in a contract you approved, and the generated program cannot reach any service the contract did not name — not as a policy, but because the gateway will not route it.
